my delightful 3y old son has put my DVD-A into thomas the tank engine with disasterous reuslts.

obtaining a new one has been quite difficult but I have managed it. Presumably out print and nobody wants to part with thier copy.

is it possible to take a backup of the DVD-A part. the DTS tracks and video are easy but I want the hi res non compressed audio tracks. Stricktly for personal use I just don't see the point in spending several K on hi-fi then crippling it with a pirate disk to save a fiver

    Which I don't think i'll bother with.
FOUR versions of NATO is more than enough, even for a die hard fan like me!

looking at the spec it's a DTS disc no mention of a DVD-A track. if this is the case i would argue it's worse not better. i'll leave the extra photo's video out for the dvd-a thank you

It seems to have a lot of 'arhived live video footage' clips.

Hope they haven't let the 'Torpedo Twins' back in the editing studio to do some more 'cut and pasting'
    :thumbsdow Heaven forbid!

An accompanying DVD of teh BBC's Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975 would have been more apt and an ideal time for it's long overdue release !
