Did anyone else get Quantum Redshift this weekend? It has that elusive "just one more go" quality! Real feeling of speed on the later levels. :D

yep! got QR on Friday. It's an excellent game which also provides a bit of a challenge once you hit expert and above. Also, the graphics and sound are top quality. The speed is amazing.

What view are you using? Once I switched to the first person "cockpit" view my eyes actually started watering due to the speed effect!

Best use of 5.1 since Halo and Moto GP IMO. :)

dont start me talking about Halo in 5.1 - i've been playing it since march 14 and i'm still playing it!!!! spent a bank holiday weekend play co-op with my wife - 18 hours straight!! and she doesn't like video games!!

I get sick of people slagging off the xbox and the PS2 fanboys telling me that its going to fail, my PS2 has been relegated to my daughters bedroom and my gamecube is gathering dust by the side of the telly.

bring on Blinx, timesplitters2 and splinter cell!!!

Splinter Cell is the one I'm most excited about now. Every new bit of info makes me salivate more and more. :D

I still play through Halo every now and again, but mostly I play it online via Xbconnect. ;)

Cheap 28" widescreen at the moment. I'll be upgrading slightly to a better spec 32" widescreen when I get back from the US. The lack of a widescreen option is the only real black mark for Halo. I didn't even mind retracing my steps through some of the levels like some did.

Have you got a broadband connection? Recently upgraded to NTL's 1Mb service for £35 a month. ;) Can't wait forNov 30th and Xbox Live! :D

i've just bought myself a tosh 36inch which i got for £900 which is awesome for game playing.

as for B'band i think i'm going to wait and see how it goes, i've been burned to often being and early adopter (DVD, XBOX, PS2, sky digital) and it costing me a fortune, so i'll just see how it goes. i'd also like to see a wider selection of games for i leap in.
