    Hi Guy's & girls
Can any of you recommend some well recorded SACD's, I currently have DSOTM and the Telarc 1812 overture. I would like to obtain more welll recorded one's and not waste my money as I have done with some appalling DVD-A recordings!!

    Regards
    John

I've bough most of Peter Gabriels back catalogue which range from good to superb. Others I feel are worth checking out are:-

    M. Jacksons Thriller
    The Best Of Simple Minds
    Tubular Bells
    Feeder's Comfort in sound
    O' Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits

I haven't got that many because we are unfortunately not spoilt for chioce:(

3 that I can think of are Deep Purple 'Machine Head' which is superb, Beck 'Sea Change' and The Police 'Every Breath I Take (Best Of)'. All are 5 Channel and extremely well recorded, as well as being excellent albums in their own right.

If it's your kinda thing, Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is one of the best multi-channel recordings I have heard. All the Dylans are nicely done with subtlety rather than drama, but note that only a handful of them are multichannel: Blood on the Tracks might be the best of the bunch. Bowie's Heathen is good, Reality didn't seem so imaginative to these ears.

Steely Dan's Gaucho is brilliantly recorded. Really shows what SACD can do.
