Hi all

I was just wondering if anybody knows anything about the build quality of the power cord supplied with the ZP100?

The reason I ask is that I've just put my ZP100 on top of the wardrobe out of the way and the standard 1m cable is too short to reach the floor. So I was wondering if a bog standard 2 metre kettle power cord would do, or if I should go for something a bit better?

Cheers

Hello adriandg

I'm sure someone will recommend an aftermarket cryogenically treated wonder cable but you'll find most installers will be using RS, Keene, Maplins etc bog standard 'longer length' power cords where required.

PS Make sure the rest of the household know the ZP100 is on top of the wardrobe and don't accidentally through something on top of it - it might get a bit hot!!!

There is absolutely nothing magical about the Sonos power cable - a kettle lead will do just fine.
