    Hi

Since I'm now have a play with a video processor and bought a cheap Quadscan Pro I thought it might be worth updating the firmware
It's currenty on V2.50 I think the latest version is V2.56

Does anybody know how I can update the firmware - I can't find any note of it on the Focus website

    Many thanks

    RON

It is a chip replacement, you need to speak to the agents. 2.55 and 2.56 I think are the latest and are for the different areas PAL / NTSC.

Out of interest, how much did you buy it for?

    Hi

Well I had a little play with the Quadscan over the weekend and my what an impact

Initially not to much of an improvement until I selected the option to output the signal at Dila resolutions (1365 x 1024 for each colour block) - WOW what a difference

If such a basic and it seems not well regarded scaler can make that much of an improvement just think what a decent scaler can do (Note to Self - Must not upgrade for 6 months - otherwise the missus will kill me)
