I'm trying to find some brackets to support the Quad Lite speakers but I cannot find their weight on the internet. Does anyone know?

Try e-mailing Quad - they responded to me a few months ago within a day or so. Alternatively, phone your local dealer.

The arm of the mount screws into a threaded hole on the back of the speaker.

Oh right, so there is already a thread buried into the Speaker ?

I have Quad 11L (in the loft at the mo, due to small house :() and maybe looking to wall mount these. Heaven forbid though that i would ever put holes in the my birds eye maple !! they also allegedly weigh 12 Kg. They must be massive compared to the lites. But i hear talk of the lites sounding as good , surely blasphemy !!

Has anyone any suggestion on how to mount heavyish speakers without the need to screw faceplates into them ?

http://www.avf.co.uk/product.php?cat=HF&product=P5299 is what I'd use for the 11L

Yes, a threaded insert in the back panel.

The L-ites really do sound as good as the 11Ls, at least to my ears. A 30 minute demo against the 11L (in stereo mode) convinced me that the L-ites are an absolute steal!
