I am currently using the Dali Viper & I'm not sure if the QEDs will make a major difference, I'm also looking at The Chord Company Carnival Classic. Unfortunately I cant get 2 brands under 1 shop to compare the quality. Can someone with prior advise please?

Also side-tracking a bit do I need to bi-amp or bi-wire my center speaker coz my Mission center comes with 4 connectors.

Don't bother - save your money, you don't need to spend that kind of money on speaker cable.

There are a number of reports that the Silver Anniversary can be a tad on the "bright" side.

If you're looking for a brand name but good value, look at the Van Damme Blue series 2.5 sq mm. It can be bought in the Power Buy section for about £1.90 per m, or if you're up for buying a quantity, you can get 100m for a few pence under £130.

I'll second that - best advice you'll get.

Both comments are not the best advice :nono:

If you have a dealership that is willing to loan you the cables to try out then I would urge you to do that.

sweeping statements like the above do not merit good advice, cables can make a difference but depending on partnering equipment/setup.

Until i see some real reviews of cables that prove they make a difference, I think it's a fair statement to make.

The whole loaning equipment to try stuff out is all well and good but unless you properly blind test everything you try (which i expect accounts for 0.0001% of hi-fi consumers) you are just going to convince yourself into spending money needlessly.

Anyway, this has been said countless of times in another thread.

you guys crack me up :D:D...but its sound advise... now I need to search who sells Van Damme Blue in Singapore.

As for my other question on bi-amping my center speaker - does it make a big difference? I mean why else would it come with 4 connectors??

I could not get the van damme retailer in singapore & the cost of getting it shipped from the UK is really expensive...so I got myself the Supra Ply 3.4/S. I must say they meet my expections :D
