Yep. Both coax & component from MG are excellent. I dumped a £50 RRP QED dig coax for an MG lead. I'm not impressed with the build quality of the QED terminations or the quality of the cable itself - way less than decent sat cable in terms of shielding. Sorry QED but it's true. Perhaps that's why they're sold in sealed plastic boxes :D .

I have the coaxial cables you mentioned above and Marks are much better quality than the QED one. The QED one sounds fine but it is very shoddy. The little colour bands on the barrel come lose and the actual barrel loosens as well.
Marks stuff sounds better and is cheaper also.

Not many :) I also have Kimber (which I rate highly) and Canare (which I am also fond of) but given the choice I would recommend Belden with Canare plugs, QED etc are well down the list but too much emphasis is place on the differences of these cables hence the reason I 'endorse' the cheap alternatives that do the job. Re 75CI spec, the Beldens measured the best when I threw some expensive university test equipment at it. 1505 I think was a smidge better than 1604? but basically there was nothing in it.

Out of interest Nic, I'm using mainly Puresonic stuff and it seems pretty good. Where does that stand in the ratings? Not that I'm going to change but it's always nice to further the knowledge. :)

this is my first component cable. its great. playing dvds off this cable beats my qed scart. the skin tones on the plasma looks less patchy.
