QED Micro - under carpet?

Looking to put some speaker cabling in at my new house before the carpet fitters come... originally I was planning on buying some of the flat stuff but have been looking at QED micro...

Has anyone used it under carpet? Is it likely to be noticeable? Would I be better with flat cable?

Its only for the rears and have a much more substantial cable for the fronts and centres!

Are you going around the edges or across the room - any cable under foot traffic is likely to eventually show up and or be damaged.

If you go around the edge of the room you can usually hide a cable tucked up beside the gripper rods.
