Q95t picture and backlight issues

I have had a Q95t 65in for 3 months now and have been underwhelmed with the picture quality. It replaced another Samsung model, so I don’t have an issue with the brand. However in the past couple of days I have had a serious backlight issue. The images attached were taken after switching the tv off for a few minutes. The tv appeared to remedy itself overnight.I contacted John Lewis who suggested a factory reset. I did that but last night I had a glitch twice in the very centre of the picture and “blocking” a different section of the screen 3 or 4 times.
Watching the Italy v Belgium game last night the close up shots were fantastic but broader shots seemed to have a smearing effect on the screen. The wider pitch shots also had vertical variances in colour which made watching unbearable. Cut to a close up and back to fantastic again.
Anyone got any ideas or should I just pursue a repair via Samsung? I love great quality picture but just can’t bear the prospect of living with this TV.

Hello,
prob faulty LD board or faulty LD driver, simply fixable in case of a driver, but yeah this happens time to time, mostely drivers are just somehow bugged and needs rewrite.
