I have a Samsung Q90T tv and Q950T sound bar all with updated firmware. I'm using a properly rated eARC HDMI cable from tv eARC HDMI port to soundbar eARC HDMI port. I am running it in Q-Symphony mode using the TV speakers simultaneously with the soundbar speakers. The sound bar is set on adaptive sound mode. The problem is whether I'm watching storage wars through TiVo we're watching John wick to Netflix the narration volume is low and the action volume is very high to the point that it shakes the house but yet I can't hear the voice is clear and have to turn on subtitles. I have tried all other soundbar modes.
1. How do I turn soundbar (not TV, I know how to do that) to PCM?
2. Why is TV sound settings expert settings"passthrough" greyed out?
3. How do i turn off DRC Dynamic Range Control on the TV and soundbar?
Thanks.
