I curently have Q15's back and front, Q95centre and anREL Q40 sub.

Love the performance but kinda wondering if I could get away with a sub/sat set up so things look a lot less cluttered in the living room.

I know it always comes down to comprimise but I want something that looks good without the loss of performance I'm used to.

Anyone had chance to audition the KEF KHT 2005 package ?

Comments / thoughts very much appreciated

Seen them through a window. They look very 'sweet'. As for performance, they may surprise. They are more chunky than I thought so they may just be ok.

I have the same issue I would like to make the living room less cluttered without selling the DVD, Tv and video!! I will be following this with interest, the other solution could be the Mission fs 2 I am going to try a demo sometime to see if I want to take the plunge just need to work on my wife but speakers high up out of toddlers way may just swing it. Need to PX or soemthing though as I will have a house full of speakers.

Alternatively I could convert the garage now theres a thought!!

I went to cheshire oaks outlet villlage today and there is a BOSE store there so i spent a little time and had a not exactly superb demo but was very impressed with the sound quality of the acoustimass 5 system. I dont know how much the KEfs are but the bose system may be worth a try too. Home demo is a good idea.

let us know how you get on.

I reckon the only way to do this properly will be to try and get a home demo.

I can't really trust a demo in a shop because of equipment and acoustic differences. Can you imagine if it sounded great in the shop, getting it all home and realising it ain't as good as your original set up !

Now to find a dealer who will let me do this !
