    Ok so Q for you guy's why dont High Definition DVD Players support Divx / Xvid ? :confused:

    There are no High Definition DVD players out yet.
    Only DVD players that upscale normal DVDs to look like HD.
    Just because they have that function doesnt mean they should play DivX or Xvid disks.
    At the end of the day they are still just DVD players.
    If you want a player that plays other formats like Div X then get a player that can do that.

    HD-DVD players wont be out till the end of this year, and its a new format.
    You can still play regualr DVD's on the new players but it is a new format which may require a new amplifiear too in order to play any new sound formats too.

    IMHO the mainstream user has no interest in, and quite possibly no knowledge of, these codecs so they'll always be niche-market devices.
