Q?? Audio editing on Sony Vegas Movie Studio (platinum)

Hi folks hope I am in the right part of the forums... I want to create some audio books to listen to in the car,... Mistakenly ordered vegas movie studio and, rather than send it back I wondered will it suffice for multitrack audio editing of voices or; should I return it and get something like sound forge studio 8 or cakewalk music creator????
I will be importing audio via usb from Fostex MR8 multitracker and possibly another usb device in the near future. I have Win/XP sp2

As video editors go, the audio features on Vegas (including the Platinum edition) are very good. It limits you to 4 audio tracks though. Not sure if that's an issue for you.

Thanks I was hoping there were more tracks available... I could probably muddle by with four but think I shall send the package back when it finally gets delivered... sound forge studio 8 is only £23.oo at shamazon uk
