Hi. Looking for bit of advice plz. I currently have a pair of q acoustic 3020s but have seen a pair of floorstanding 2050s for sub £100.
My question is would these be an improvement or a step back?
Thanks in advance.

Depends what you’re trying to achieve, other kit and listening environment.
The 3020s are very good budget bookshelf speakers but were always a little bass shy which the floor standing 2050s should have more of. If it’s a small room the bigger speakers may swamp your listening area. Both were highly regarded speakers in their heyday.

Tbf any kind of improvement in dynamics or soundscape? The room is large rectangular roughly 7 by 3 metre so could rearrange set up. Just thought may be an improvement full little lay out.
Thanks

If they’re in good condition, you’ve got nothing to lose for £100. Give them a whirl. You should be able to move them on with no real loss if they’re not for you.
