Anyone know if and how you can move the RF out channel on a Pye DV105 Video Recorder..

The current factory default is conflicting with BBC1 on my Cable..

    Any help appreciated..

I'm not familiar with the box but if you can't change it through a setup menu you may find the good old fashioned potentiometer hole at the back!

You will need an instrument screwdriver to adjust a small screw visible through the hole.

I may just be showing my age tho' and there may not be any such thing on new recorders!

From memory, but it is in the book by the way.......

either, turn off and hold down the system button on the remote until the option appears on screen.

    or

there is a button on the vcr itself like setup or something, press and hold that down.

It is described in the book at the back I think. Pye/Philips 'destruction' books are terrible. But look and you'll see.

Sorry I can't be more specific but it's been about 18 months since I'v seen one of those.
