px60 service menu & settings

ok iv been able at last to get into the service menu on me pan px60
but apart from what hours the screen has been running for what else is this menu good for?
second thing and much more important to the enjoyment of the screen is what settings to actually run the thing at.
and before someone bits me head off, yes i have looked around the forum first but cant find anyone thats actually run a program and got the perfect combo going. im not a wizz when it comes to things, lets face it. its taken me over 2 months to get into the service menu for gods sake
iv just tried these setting on this thred but i dont have the ability to program my set with the settings as i dont have what he's talking about.

are the settings different for each imput dvd/freeview/xbox/360/etc

To answer your last question regarding are the settings different for each input, the answer I believe is yes (they are not global i.e. it's not one setting for all inputs they are all individual).

im not trying to do anything par-say, its just today i was able to get into the service menu for the first time and didnt see anything in there that looked any use to anyone except the hours thing.
as the picture menu is very basic with its inputs i thought i might have been able to adjust height width sort of thing when watching movies etc.
but i would like to set the tv up to get the best i can out of it regarding pq.
the best input into the screen we use is the xbox 360, iv tried adjusting settings while using the set but as iv got slightly tinted glasses on, what ever i set it upto the wife says looks crap.
