PWD8 and a Progressive Scan DVD-player?

I do not seem to see any difference on my PWD8, when turning Progressive Scan on or off... Why??

maybe your dvd player and the pwd8 are about as good as each other at de-interlacing the signal. id guess there are subtle differences but just choose either if you can't tell (personnally id go with the panel doing it, depending on dvd player?)

Peter, I've noticed the same on my PWD8 but then my DVD is only a DMR ES10.

It's a Sony DVP-NS955... should be a rather good DVD-player, but also not the best of the bunch...
