and i didnt try to find cheaper
Great price that and they get the component board aswell, what odds on us getting the same deal? same chance as me winning the lotto i guess.
4 15 24 28 34 36 bonus 7
so the uk price using the magic 1.3 conversion is ............
Nexnix.co.uk Expected Price of (Inc VAT): £1408.83 if we have to add component board you're guess won't be far off.
First UK pricing !!!
Expected 2nd week August
£1400 - no boards - no stand
Rip Off Britain - as usual !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well apart from the included svideo composite board......which is hardly doing you a favour........may as well go for a PWD7.......or the HD 8 series
Do we know what improvements the pw8 will have over the pw7? will the 37" be out at the same time? i was going to wait for the HD version but i bet they won't release that here and i need a 37" as 42" will be too big for the bedroom.
I can't believe we are getting robbed again, maybe we should all email panasonic and have a good old moan at them?
there was thread somewhere mate that showed the differences but I can't find it right now....but on teh face of it the pw8 don't look massively different to a pwd7
Apparently these guys are expecting the 42PHD8 to come in just under £2K PLUS VAT...
that doesn't sound bad
As an opening figure that seems quite good, especially since that site isn't as cheap as some for other current products.
It sets an interesting pricepoint for the new Pioneers, too. I'm definitely going to give it a few weeks to settle down before making any purchasing decisions (for which read "not rushing out to buy the Samsung")
That could be the smartest thing you ever do!
I will swap for the 50" when it arrives I think, unless Pioneer do get the black levels right and bring out a panel, I couldn't live with that media box.
Is this on their web site ?
Or did you phone them ?
