Do we know what improvements the pw8 will have over the pw7? will the 37" be out at the same time? i was going to wait for the HD version but i bet they won't release that here and i need a 37" as 42" will be too big for the bedroom.

I can't believe we are getting robbed again, maybe we should all email panasonic and have a good old moan at them? ;)

As an opening figure that seems quite good, especially since that site isn't as cheap as some for other current products.

It sets an interesting pricepoint for the new Pioneers, too. I'm definitely going to give it a few weeks to settle down before making any purchasing decisions (for which read "not rushing out to buy the Samsung")

That could be the smartest thing you ever do! :)

I will swap for the 50" when it arrives I think, unless Pioneer do get the black levels right and bring out a panel, I couldn't live with that media box.
