    Hi All,
Going off to buy a panny PW7 tomorrow  , I am very new to the world of plasma and would like some help if you could spare the time.
Below is a list of my equipment that I would like to run through the plasma, please could sombody suggest what cables, boxes of tricks I need for the best picture?
    Sky + box RGB output
    Xbox RGB output
    DVD player, RGB/component output
Denon 3803, I now this can act as a video switch, is this the best way to hook everything up?

    Thanks for any help.....

Well I would go with a JS Tech RGB2VGA converter for Sky+ along with a decent SCART lead from the Sky+ box to the converter and a good VGA lead from the converter to the VGA input on the PW7.

You could then connect the XBOX through the Sky+ box.

Then get a component input board, either RCA or BNC, along with a decent component lead for your DVD player...might be worth getting the dual slot BNC RGBHV input board as this will also leave you a spare composite or svideo input - handy for viewing the amps onscreen menus - plus if you ever wanted to hookup a scaler you have the best connection available.

This would leave you with one empty slot for future upgrades.

I'd stay away from the SCART board if possible...even if it's free.

    Cheers, Lee

get componet board and RUN XBOX and DVD via component into amp and on to screen (need Hi-Def kit cable)then RUN SKY+ via JS RGB>VGA converter (component board (RCA) arerare... so go for BNC board or the DUAL Slot component/ S-video board...

There are just better solutions available that will give better results...it’s generally accepted that the SCART input board is not really up to the job…do a search and see what others have to say…I think TeresaTT gives a good report on the subject.
