    I have an HTPC wth Radeon 9600XT Graphics card with DVI output.

    I am also a complete numpty!

    Can someone please tell me the advantages of spending the extra on a Panasonic TH50PHW7 over the PW7 version?

    Does a DVI input come as standard on th PHW7 and PW7 or do I need to order a special card with it?

    Thanks.

    as far as i am awaree the PHW7 42" was never released in UK if the model number TH-42PHW7EX it is not UK stock and a Euro import the PW7 and PWD7 are 852x480 res and PHD7/PHW7 are 1024x768 the Hi Res screens are much better but around £1k more so if you have the money go for it, go get the very best out of buy a scaler and get it calibrated.......

    Thanks, thnk I am getting close to decision now. One final thing;

    If I am using Radeon 9600XT graphics card and TH50PHW7B at 1366x768 res do I need to get something like Dscaler to match the resolution and frequency of Graphics card with screen?

    Thanks for your help.

    Any suggestions where to buy from also appreciated.
