Taken from What Hi-Fi (Feb 2005).

"Panasonic has also just released details of its new PW7 range of plasma displays. The TH-37PW7 and TH-42PW7 will be Panasonic's first ever models in the UK to feature an all-digital HDMI video input.

These new sets incorporate a number of new technologies, including the new Real Black Drive System, which is claimed to result in richer blacks and a clearer picture".

So is this the replacement for the current PW7?

Explains why they are only now reviewing the 435XDE.

Not much point is buying the magazines to be honest.
