    Hi,

I am trying to get a component signal into my PW7 (not D version) panel. I have a hardwired vga cable into the wall for the past few months into the onboard VGA socket. Now I wish to utilise this for component signals although I understand the the default vga socket is not capable of accepting a component signal... is this Correct?

Can i put in a TY42TM6PB VGA board into this plasma and then use a component to VGA cable? Will this board make the panasonic accept component signals?

Please help, I am fed up spending money for things to not work. :lease:

    Maw? Hornydragon?

The following Input Boards are all RGB/YUV compatible when installed in your 7 Series Display:

    TY-42TM6YB (BNC sockets)
    TY-42TM6GB (VGA socket)
    TY-42TM6PB (VGA socket)

The lack of YUV support on the inbuilt HD15 (VGA) socket on the 7 Series was a decision based upon the lack of support for certain 50Hz signals on the Optional HDMI Input board.

    Best regards

    Joe
