    Hi all
I am thinking of buying my first plasma, a Panasonic TH42PW7B, I was wondering as the title says, do you get dead pixels with the newer models? This is one reason I have not bought one earlier. does anyone know panasonics dead pixel policy?

Been reading this forum regularly for a couple of months, no-one has mentioned any dead pixels on a Panasonic plasma, none on my 37" PW7...

dead pixels are an LCD phenomenon and does not affect plasmas. Plasmas do not get dead pixels...they just fade away with time... :D just kidding...it takes about 60k hours of usage before you can start noticing the fading.
