As title is it best to have AGC on or off on panel? :(
Seems to increase "whiteness" (is that a word) in dark scenes.
    Anyone have a preference? :D
Oh and what about Colour Management?
Current settings after 200 hours direct to scart board for anyone interested:
From panel to Sky and then looped to DVD
    Cinema mode
    Contrast +1
    Brightness +2
    Colour +3
    Sharpness 0
    White balance Normal
    All advanced settings as default.
Quality pic, probably gonna try the JS converter now, presuming that this does improve picture & if so in what way?
Only thing I have noticed any problems with is on Sky (sometimes) when you look close up the image is pixelated.........would the JS converter get rid of this?
    Thanks guys

it was left off after i had it calibrated.

The JS makes a definite overall improvement to picture...far more realistic, crisper picture......its not going to make **** channels brilliant..nothing will...(as they say "you can't polish a turd") but it's well worth the dosh.

As mep says, AGC off. Also colour management off.

The JS box gives a sharper picture than via the scart input board.

The advanced settings are where the ISF "magic" is worked, but you need the kit to analyse what these controls are doing.

Thanks Piers, as I said to mep I will probably go this route when funds allow.
Have left both AGC and colour management off.........colour management made greens look really, REALLY green anyway!)
