I got a pw7 a couple of weeks back with the tuner box. At present everything is connected to the box. dvd via componant, sky and dvd rec via scarts, pc via vga on screen.
i am now wanting to use the picture in picture and other disabled features so want to get rid of box
Will there be any difference in picture quality?
What is the best way to connect to the screen?
How much is this likely to cost?

Also lip sync is way out on dvds. Amp cant be adjusted any more. Do these delay boxes work and do they effect sound sound quality

well i would connect via component board (bnc is much cheaper than the rca). use a component switcher so that you can plug both dvd and dvdr into that..and switcher to the screen..you can get component board for about £60...and js do teh component switcher box...about £55

Also noticed component seems to be a lot darker than scart. Using monster3 scart and thor component
does the tuner make any difference to picture quality

i think it does...haven't used one...but from what i read here it pretty much buggers everything up!

there are quite a few options really...sky to vga via a js rgb vga converter is great..but you have pc going in...so would need a way of switching vga iputs......scart board is not bad but many complain of a soft picture....upgrading the amp gives some more options too.....even the rxv 450 for just £150....gives you component switching and much improved audio delay

ok, just thought i'd mention it......the delay is very easy to use...just an option in the sound set up menu and as i say it does upto -160ms which is more than enough...it's a really good amp for the money i reckon
