pw6b advanced settings & js scart rgb to vga

Read that some people have had to go into advanced settings on pw6b to alter colour etc, when using js converter but they also say advanced setting menu is not available when inputting via vga connection, so how do you alter the colour etc,

Advanced setting is not for adjusting colour. It is for adjusting greyscale.

are you saying then there are no problems in making adjustments on the pw6b when using js scart to vga

no problems. you loose tint compared to Component but you still have advanced settings where you can adjust level of Red and Blue for highlights and shadows (Green is controlled by overall level of Brightness and Contrast)
