    Hi,

9 to 10 feet is best , but from 3 to 4 feet is acceptable. I personally do view analogue - as a freeview digital feed is obviously better.

As for size - go for 42

Get the 42! It's amazing how quickly you get used to the size. I'm about 9ft from mine and can stand getting a fair bit closer.

    HI,
The other issue is if i get one, how to hang on wall. I would need it to swing out from wall.Has anyone doctured a normal tv wall bracket. You can get them to hold pw6 weight. Is there anything special about how the panny connects to the wall mounting plate because i could do without trying to afford one of these as well as all my cables and possibly js convertor and scart switcher.

I use a nokia free view box through scart and while not brilliant is totally acceptable. A lot is down to how good they broadcast. Some programs look great others terrible. There is deffinatey a difference in free view boxes as my girlfriend has an hitachi one and on her 28" tv I can see blocking and all other sorts of artifacts that would be really bad on my 42" panny 6. I have mine mounted on a non moveable bracket and am nearly 15' away from it. At that distance it is like a normal tv for me lol. I do try to get closer for movies but am thinking of getting a projector for that.
