I have read that there are issues with the dvi board on the PW6, however I need a new DVD player and the idea of using the DVI input still appeals.

Having done a search of the forums, it looks as if the denon 2910 does not work with the DVI blade even when outputting 576p signals. Has anyone tried the Arcam DV79 using HDMI to DVI and 576p output with any success?

Are there any other players that have been found to work with the PW6 with DVI or should I forget about the whole thing altogether?

    TIA,

    njr

    Hi:

forget the DVI board for the panny..when it works, picture is crappy and has lot's of dithering. Go for a good player and use component output..
