went to have a demo of the pw6 today was quite impressed,
until he showed me the nec vp4 which to me won on all counts apart from the black level detail of the panny, having said that when watching armegedon the nec showed up details on the dvd that seemed to be masked by the black detail on the panny, + the nec is cheaper and comes with a 2 yr warranty, also had lord of the rings playing on the new pioneer, imho, was not that impressed,

theres a few posts similar to this if you search the forums. I also viewed all 3 and preffered the panny. Although I did see the panny and nec side by side around a month ago and nec looked better although the panny hadn't been set up properly so it wasn't a fair comparison.
It was very close foe me but the only real down side was that the nec's dvi input was not HDCP compliant, apart from that it's a very good screen with very good connectivity and very good warranty :)
