pw6 v hd version

    apart from the resolution what are the advantages to be had from the hd panel, is it worth the extra money, has anybody compared them side by side

    I wish one of the many other HD owners would join the forum !

    My opinion is that the SD is a little darker contrast wise, but the HD has the advantage of appearing to show no flicker whatsover (IMO), not that many people notice flicker from the many SD plasma that flicker slightly.

    Also, if you are sitting closer than 7 - 8 feet away you may experience a 'screen door' effect from most SD plasmas due to pixel structure. I do not see this effect at all from 5 - 7 feet away.
    One other advantage is that PC use is much better with a 1024x768 resolution display. I know it's a little sad, but web surfing on this is very impressive. The SD version is a little fuzzy in comparison.
    I also hope I am futureproofed as much as you can be for a couple of months.
