Does anyone have a picture of the speakers for the PW6 and know how they attach?

    (PSA085) - Speakers TY-SP42P5W-K

Or are their better speakers (that look right) to go with this model (allthough I am confused why the speakers on av sales web site are called P5W for the PW6 plasma and if you look are called P6W for the PW7 plasma with the P6W speakers being £100 more)

    Regards
    Robert

Is there another option? Maybe a bit cheaper than the £233 they cost?

I picked up a set of PW6 speakers on eBay not that long ago. They are just to see me through until I can decide on a nice amp and speakers.

Link to picture below (I hope!)

They are probably as good as any CRT TV built-in speakers. There isn't much bass, but they are clear and distortion free up to quite high volumes. They are also surprisingly big and heavy for 8W speakers.

Just the ticket for watching Eastenders/Corrie. But you'll soon get disappointed with the sound if you watch a lot of films.

If I go for the PWD6, I'll probably buy a set of Acoustic Energy Aego 2 speakers. Around £90 now.
