there seems to be loads of stock left, ajelectronics just had a big delivery
the new model is about 30 days away. I originally predicted the price would
drop to £1825, but I now suspect it MAY drop to £1750 if stocks last. I gotta
say at £1850, I would buy one today from AV-Sales (silvers are around at £1898)
Far more blacks in stock everywhere, Silver may run out.
(just waiting on my nationwide credit card cos I really want that free year extra warrenty)

I'm just waiting on my nationwide credit card too! Barcleys card is already through - it's the one with 0% on balance transfers til August 2005!

So - it's purchase on the nationwide, register for warrenty, transfer to the Barcleys, pay off when my christmas bonus comes through :)

Anyone know if that comes with any of the connection boards? Anyone know any good dealers who would price match? (RS are good on price - but I've heard not very good on service - more of a "bulk box shifter" type of retailer!)

shame richer sounds only do them instore on special order (no stock and no board)
If you get Nationwide Classic it has 6 months interest free on purchases
as well as the extra year guarantee. you could get it free forever with 2 cards
and transfer tha balance every 6 months......I'm gonna try doing that.

Ahh heck i just worked it out, AV sales are doing basically the same price , RS is cheaper but not by much and considering they don't have a clue I would rather be at av-sales.

They are charging £1850 INC a single board, the board is £134.00 so £1,850 - 134 = £1716.00 so not much diff between the RS and AV.

In fact factor in the carriage inc at av sales and it's about dead even I suspect.

I know where I would rather go...
