Advice please I am buying the Panasonoic PW6 display and I want to feed to it a DVD recorder which is RGB Humax PVR which is RGB and a VCR which is composite am I right that I can't feed the VCR through the JS RGB - VGA unit, so can only use the Panasonic Scart board

Mostly right, panasonic also list a s-video/composite board, which is cheap, if you want to use the RGB/VGA converter for RGB devices.

so with the s-video board I would require a scart to s-video lead for the VCR is this better than using the Panasonic scart board for the VCR and the JS unit for the DVD and Humax.
    Thanks

No different to the scart, just cheaper. And you will be connecting with a scart to composite lead, not s-video or your picture will be black and white.
