PV500 Warranty Card........

    Hi my new UK 42" PV500 Plasma didn't have a warranty registration card with it (something that is stated in the various documentation that arrived with it)
    How do I register my Plasma with Panasonic? Or do I not need too?
    What happens if there is a problem with it? Do I just go back to the store I brought it from?

    Has anyone else who got the UK version of this plasma have their warranty card missing?

    I think there was something saying that theres isn't a warranty card any more. Have a look through the paperwork again, it was a loose piece of paper.

    I have never filled in the warranty cards.

    yeah, that is what i had.
    So is the plasma registered (serial number etc) with Panasonic via the store you brought it from? In case of future problems?

    I never normally fill those cards out either, but on a 2k set its a different matter! The more cover the better!

    The shop should sort all that out.
    If you have the plasma and the receipt then you should be covered.

    I just registered mine on the panasonic website, filled in model, address details, serial number, date purchased etc and then at the end after the final page (I'd put that I only had the standard one year guarantee) they offered me a choice of extended warranties, which I did not take up.
