The universal one I got with my PV500 from RGB is good, sits it flush to the wall.

It is expensive but I got it with the plasma, the cheaper ones will do the same job, they are all basically mild steel pressed out to give the shape.

Should be getting my HK DVD player today

You just need spacers for the vieras, about 45mm to stand it off the bracket (for the fat bit at the bottom)

My 37PV500 arrives on Wednesday, and will be leaned against the wall until we decide where it should go! I'm now thinking that an articulated (swing) wall mount with 2 hinges would be best, so that we can swing it out from the recess beside the chimney breast and angle it in towards the room. As the PV500s are heavy buggers, can anyone recommend an articulated mount (it will be bolted onto a solid stone wall)?

I saw some at the Bristol Show that looked very well made, but I can't remember who made them. I'd love an electric one, but those seem to cost about a grand!

I got a universal wall mount with my PV500 (as panny had run out of stock) but I can't see where to attach it.

There are 4 plastic caps at the back, do I prise these out and secure it here with the spacers? The other screws I can see don't look like they could bear any weight.

You prise the caps off, and secure with the allen screw and the spacers.
It doesn't look like it would hold the plasma but it does.
