pv500 Q,can i switch the speakers off ?

    now im not sure about any other tv`s but my current sony 32 crt wont output sound into my amp unless the speakers our tuned off and the biggest problem is as soon as the tv is switched off you have to go back in the menu and switch the speakers off again :mad: is it the same for the pv500 ? thanks in advance

    mods feel free to delete this after its been answered as the pv500 threads our beginning to annoy other members,owners and prospective buyers :rotfl:

    I have mine going to the hi-fi through the audio out, you don't need to turn the speakers off in order to do so.

    Have mine set up, dvd through the amp, with component into telly,

    Also have a scart to av2 so all I have to do is select component and turn amp on, no sound through telly or watch on av2.

    That way no messing. :)
