Hi I'm a little confusded on this, I just ordered my PV500 42 incher (yahoooooo!!!) never owned a plasma before but...

I just spent £115 on cables including

    1x Playstation 2 component cable
    2x Profigold component cables

Obviously the Playstation 2 cables purpose needs no explanation, the other 2, 1 is for my Pioneer-575A and the other for the Panasonic DMRES10 dvd recorder that I ordered with the plasma...

But hasn't the PV500 only got 1 set of component inputs? oooopps...

Is there an easy way around this through the use of some switcher box or something? I have no clue myself? Are there ones available that would do the swiching automatically....

    ------

ah no I'm a foool, I just remembered that my amp can take 2x component and has 1 output but doesn't that mean that I'll still need one more?

Thank you for any advice :)

I use an Audio Authority 1154A switcher box.It handles 4 component inputs,Auto switches them and also switches optical/coaxial/analog sound for each source.Superb piece of kit. You're looking at over £100 for one though.

Unless you have an NTSC PS2 I'd ditch the componrnt for that and use an RGB Scart instead as there's no PQ difference in the 2 cables unless you have access to 480p NTSC Titles.
