pv500 died 5 weeks ago

after 12 weeks my th42 pv500 died.phoned av- sales and it was collected by repair agent.after 4 weeks in repair shop they have replaced faulty board but still cannot get screen to work.it is now 5 weeks and counting since plasma died and despite numerous phone calls to av sales and repair agent and e mails to panasonic all i,m told is that is being dealt with by panasonic technical dept.am i within my rights to demand refund or replacement from av sales?

big thanks to av sales who have now negotiated a refund from panasonic customer services.replacing pv500 with phd8 being delivered friday,cant wait after 6 weeks without plasma
