Thanks to the advice of this forum, I have ordered the TH42PV500 and a Vogel EFW 2001 wall mount from JL.

Reading through here, it seems that, with some wall mounts, it is impossible to access the sockets at back of PV500 once it is up. Anyone has this combination (PV500 + Vogel 2001) in particular? What's your experience?

Is it worth upgrading to the tilted version (EFW 2005) because of this? I heard that the tilted version would make the panel further away from the wall. How much further?

    Many thanks.
