PV500 37" or 42"

    I thought this was a no-brainer - go for the 42".

    If I looked at this forum at the beginning of this year the plasma of choice was the Panny 42" PW7 (or PW6) and anyone going for the 37" seemed to be in the minority.

    But with the PV500 there seems to be more people posting with the 37". Why is this ...

    I suspect it downs to unit size (when you consider bezel and speakers), or price or simply availability.

    However, if there is a more important reason why people are going for the 37" rather than 42" I would be very pleased to know.

    Well I think the vast majority of people have the 42"....

    I went for the 37" because the 42 was too big for my room.

    If you have the space and budget, go for the 42".
    My family thought it would be too big for a small lounge,
    but you soon get used to it...and I don't feel too close to the screen.

    It is a big beast...but OK if you have got the room.

    I went for the 37 and it is perfect for my room 3 by 4 metres i think the 42 would have been to big.
