Pus6704 tv: clicking home button does nothing

I have a rental holiday place where I bought a PUS6704 and have used normally but now after a few tenants have been there I don’t know what they did to the TV:

When I click the home button or settings button or many buttons on the remote it doesn’t do absolutely anything. Not even the source button works.

I believe they started some kind of child lock or limited mode or something like that because it seems the functionality of the TV is limited.

The remote seems to be working, the led on tv works when I click the buttons

Does anyone know how to undo this or what is happening?

Google "setting child lock on philips tv remote" and follow prompts to disable child lock.

I tried that but instructions say to open Menu/ settings and I can’t open that or enter any kind on unlock pin.

I’m not sure if this is child more lock or not

Try pressing home and mute buttons together for at least 5 seconds to see if it resets the remote to factory settings.
