purple line on panasonic PW4 42"

Hi
i have the 42" panasonic pw4 plasma with tu-pta300b tuner box.
the problem is on darkish screens i have a purple line going horozontaly through the screen. i had this last year and sent tuner box back for repair. but has started again.
do you think it is the plasma or tuner box.
i know plasma suffer from colour bleed has anyone else suffered this.

If you've had the problem before, and it went when you had the tuner repaired, then it must be the tuner. I don't thin k you'd get a purple line from a plasma fault anyway. Now, as the tuner is well known to be moderately rubbish anyway, why don't you search ebay for a video board for the screen, and get a freeview box as a TV tuner? More channels, better picture, what can go wrong? The PW4 is a great plasma, no reason to junk it unless you've got room for a second one, may would say it was all downhill for Panasonic after the PW4....

 

i have sky so i dont need tuner box anymore anyway.
