In December I purchased a JVC HV36 tv.It has now developed purity problems- a faint yellow patch on the right hand side of the screen. This is most noticeable on B/W programming. The engineers agreed with the problem but JVC say it is within specification. An easy get out clause. The engineers have said that replacing the tube may cure the problem but there is no guarantee of success. The dealer will not refund the purchase price unless JVC accept the set as faulty.Has anyone had any similar problems to mine?and how were they solved? either with JVC televisions or other makes.
    Thank you
    Charles
