Driving along this morning I changed channels on my highway which went into antenna connecting mode and then the image faded to a few lines but I still had one station playing. Stopped thge car and fiddled about with it until the display went a bit haywire and the battery indicator showed empty. Bought new batteries, fitted them and now nothing works. The hand unit will not connect to the antenna and I have no sound and the display is blank. I tried connecting the power source to a different supply I know is live but no difference. I put the old batteries back in and after much fiddling got one channel to work briefly then it went dead again. Have I missed something. Should I reset the thing and try again? My wife also has a 400, could I try her head unit with my antenna to see if it works? I am using the aux jack into the aux on my pioneer.
