Hey. I'm looking to buy a new PC, as mine is very old (as in Windows 98 old).

Looking at 80GB hard drive or thereabouts, 512MB ram, Pentium 4, XP, etc all the usual - standard stuff really.

Anyone know where is a good place to get this online?

    Thanks!

I don't often buy pre-built systems but in the past I used Evesham and we buy our office systems from them. One useful thing is that they have a high-street store nearby, so camping on the manager's desk in case of problems is an option. ;)

You seem tailor made for Dell. I am sure you could pick up a machine with that spec for relatively little. And while Dell has its detractors, my experience has been largely positive across the board with them.

Yeah, Dell are a good bet.

The 'online order tracker' isn't that reassuring sometimes, but the kit itself nearly always turns up on time. Hard-to-beat prices too, usually.

Wherever you go I would recommend 1GB of ram at least. It's so cheap these day and you will find it much better with 1GB.
