ptae 100 set up for p/scan

    advice wanted m8s, ive set it up picture great on original dvd s
    but on copies which are excellent picture wise, i see sort off circular wavey lines on certain scenes , im using monster component leads any help m8s i set the projector to ntsc is this right or should i set to multi or pal there is no tv connnected im just using a dvd player straight to panny 100

    I expect its due to the fact that dvdr's are re-encoded from the original bit-rate to a lower bit-rate enabling the film to fit onto a dvdr from a dvd9, have you got a film like waterboy that fits onto a dvdr with no encoding, that way you can see the difference between the original and the copy.
