    Hi there,

Just got my Panasonic PTAE-100 the other day and have been putting it through it's paces this weekend.

Can anyone tell me why my projector gets no signal from my DVD player (Denon 2800 connected through component) when I switch it's video mode to interlaced?

If I change it to progressive scan it works fine (and looks great!)
I'm just a little worried by the talk of the problems with Pal progressive, if I can't output an interlaced signal I'm kind of stuck (not that I have that many PAL discs)

There don't seem to be any options on the PJ that I'm missing but I saw the DVD player outputting an interlaced signal before I bought it.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you kindly,

    Keir Turner.

    I have the solution!

You need to change the "AV1 VIDEO OUT" to either "video" or "s-video". It won't output interlaced component if it's set to "RGB". I know it sounds weird but this is the reason! :) I have the same player.

    Thanks Tor!

Right first time, I set AV1 to "video" and it worked without a hitch.

    Thanks for your help!

    Keir :)
