PTA300, PTAE300, PTAE300E - which is the UK version?

    Im trying to find the cheapest (and best quality) quote from an e-tailer and wondered if someone can clarify which model number is the offical UK spec machine?

    As far as I'm aware the correct european model number is the PT-Ae300e.(E for Europe).The japanese model has the suffix J and the Us model U. I think the UK/European model is exactly the same spec.

    AFAIK the Jap and US version don't have the scart socket like the european machine.

    No great loss I suppose. Scart must be the most cumbersome and crappy cable connector yet invented.

    As Dipman said, the "e" suffix denotes a European model (with scart).

    Both US & Jap versions don't have a scart connector.

    Other threads here concerning best pricing/retailers, so as your question has been answered, I'm closing this.
