Is there any tips or hints on that machine?
like what to avoid, that lets say keeps the lifetime higher or any thing about first hour run? is it like plasma tvs? like keep away from high contrast and light the first hours?

    Dynamic iris ON
    lamp LOW
    fan HIGH

no need for any run in. But projectors do have to warm up for about 15-30 min. When watching keep on/off cycles low dont turn it on and off if your going to turn it on might as well leave it on for a good while.

lamp health should be good that way.

    Hi

how much of a drop does the '13% above the screen top' lens shift equate to from the distance you have it setup to.

ie. feet from screen, screencentered @ 50% lens shift so btm of screen is in line with pj, then add the final 13%.

is there much of a drop in brightness?

Thank you in advance for answering those q's :)

    most kind!
